Dharmaraya Temple in Bangalore

In the centre is Adi Sakthi, at the back are Dharmaraya and Sri Krishna, to the sides are Draupadi and Arjuna and in the front are Bhima and Nakula - Sahadeva
The temple is near Sarada theatre near Corporation Building. To get their I bought a day pass for Rs 30 on the bus and took a busroute leading to K.R. Market. I hopped off at corporation stop and took a Rs 20 auto to the temple (because I didn’t know the way). On the way back I just walked back to the corporation. This temple is important because of the Karaga festival.

First view of the Temple

These Naga Devatas face the temple. In South India, it is very normal to find a small shrine to Naga Devatas near all temples.

There is a much grander version of this in Chitradurga fort, from which people were supposed to swing and light the lamp atop a pillar.

The Entrance to the Temple

Offering Prayer to Adi Sakthi, Krishna, the Pandavas, and Draupadi so that Dharma (Righteousness) will return to India

Agni Putri - Draupadi, the daughter of the fire.
