Be it ever so humble.,

.. there is no place like home!
When rural workers come to the cities to make some extra money, they use their familiar hut building techniques and the material easily and cheaply available near the construction sites.
The huts of the villages are stunningly beautiful and elegant with the mud and thatched roofs and decorations. They are very carefully built.
The huts in the cities with plastic and asbestos are an interesting experiment  in temporary hybrid technology. It is insulting to call them slums.
